Why you should use a professional

property manager

You own a beautiful vacation home and have decided to share it with guests. Now it's time to decide whether to manage the rentals yourself or hire a professional.

What is your time worth?

Many homeowners who manage their own vacation rentals consider it a full-time job. Not only is there a lot of work involved, but managing the cleaning, maintenance and guest service becomes even more difficult when you don’t live near your rental home.

  • How do you find trustworthy and dependable people to clean and service your home?
  • How do you find trustworthy and dependable people to clean and service your home?
  • What happens if your cleaner doesn’t show up on a turnover day?
  • Who takes the guest calls in the middle of the night?
  • How do you set your rates and know when to make changes?

We can help solve these problems for you, from providing a ’la carte service plans so you retain control over what you want, to fully managing your home and guests.

The cost of hiring a professional property manager

Consider the amount you would pay to Airbnb or Vrbo to list and book your home and process your payments. Then add to that the cost for linens, housekeeping, caretakers, pool care and maintenance vendors. And then consider your time managing it all.

The cost of hiring a professional property manager is often times equal or less than the expense of doing it yourself.

Options - start with a limited plan

If you really enjoy renting your house yourself, consider a Limited Services agreement with Seaside Vacations. You manage the bookings and communicate with the guests and let us handle cleaning, linens, inspections, maintenance and service for you - or select your services a la carte.

"I would never own out-of-town property anywhere without someone responsible to look after it. The SEASIDE staff look after our beach home, and us, as though we're close kin. Our needs are quickly, professionally and courteously addressed. They already know who the good service vendors are and what renters want. I would recommend SEASIDE without hesitation to anyone looking for a good property manager!"
